Amateur Radio Insurance Services, or
'ARIS' as it is now more commonly known, was set up
in 1971 to cater for the special insurance requirements
of members of the Radio Society of Great Britain. Since
then it has served both members and other amateur radio
enthusiasts well and is now the UK's leading provider
of radio communications insurance.
Policies arranged by ARIS include equipment
belonging to individuals, clubs, societies, Raynet groups
and traders. ARIS became part of the Stuart Alexander
Group in 1997 since which time it has extended the range
of facilities provided for policyholders.
